Lasse bought the car in autumn 1987, he had seen an advertisment and drove on a rainy autumn evening from Lahti to Helsinki to see the car. The car was in many pieces, its chassis was on a framework made of tube and there were a lot of parts in cardboard boxes. During the 90's he did not had time to work with the car. The restauration went forward every now and then, and in 2005 most of the welding work was done. In May 2007 he brought the car to a painter, who sprayed its top layer. The color is AR013 Bianco Spine.
This chassis is better known as Giulietta Sprint, but during its latest production years, 1962-1964, all together 7107 cars with 1600 ccm engine bore Giulia name and others with 1300 engine bore Giulietta name. |
