This Giulia was first registrated in Switzerland and it came to Finland in mid of 1970's as a part of a family removal back to Finland. The have had several owners in the early 1980's and at that time it raised attention of another club member, who bought it in 1986. He made some body work to it.
To its current owner Antti Reenpää the car was sold in 1991. He repaired the chassis and painted it with its original white colour. Its technical parts were repaired during its chassis restoration in 1994 and its original engine was repaired in the winter of 1995/96. At the end of summer 1996 it was registered into the Finnish Historical Car Registry (Museoautorekisteri).
Alfa has made 71,134 Giulia TI:s during the years 1962 to 1967. Of which 32 is been imported to Finland and 5 of them were imported in 1965 when this car was manufactured. The first Giulias were imported by Suomen Koneliike Oy in 1963. |
